These terms govern your use of the Byoto website and any services provided by Byoto (“Byoto”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.
1. Who we are

2. Use of the website
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the site or sign up for our services.
- You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to send unlawful content.

3. Accounts and onboarding
- If you sign up for the Byoto waitlist or service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the business you list.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

4. Customer data
- Information your team stores in Byoto remains owned by your business. We act as a service provider handling that data on your instructions.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload or capture the data you store with us.
- We follow the practices described in our privacy policy when handling personal information.
5. Intellectual property
The Byoto name, logo, website content and software are owned by Byoto and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer them without our written permission.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
- The site and services are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Byoto’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the services is limited to the fees you have paid Byoto in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If no fees have been paid, our liability is limited to ₹10,000.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profits or business interruption.
7. Termination
You can stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the site or services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
